gems behind glassthe world is painted black and the light no longer shows black velvet with gems thrown across like in a jewlers sitting behind the glass seperate from yourself. because the world has borders and you can't reach out. and we wait we're always waiting for the light to change and time to move because time moves with the shadows. we're only safe in the shade so i'll let the night reach into my lightest places and hold the stars in the sky watching them flicker like a dying light bulb dangling on a string hanging precariously in the da gems behind glass

Been Awhile

I haven't submitted a journal or deviation in what seems like forever. I have kind of been feeling lately that the world was slowly rolling onto of me....and luckly I've been able to pull myself out of that state. Realizing who people really are, beyond what they apply to their faces in the morning to look and feel beautiful, is a difficult thing to swallow when you've thought they were really your friend for so many years. To start to learn to love yourself for who you are and what you are capable is really a hard thing to do....and I think I am getting there. Just thought I'd share... I've been loving a lot of the stuff I saw over the summer!
